When to use an Hourly Basis Development Model:

• When the project is expected to run for long duration and requires flexibility.
• When the scope is not clear to start with and is difficult to estimate required resources.
• When the requirement is ad-hoc and requires for tasks like customization, maintenance, change in design etc
